Main Street Hanford
Main Street Hanford is the leader and coordinator for the continuous revitalization of downtown Hanford. As a certified Main Street community, the organization follows the National Trust's 4 point approach. Members of the organization and numerous volunteers work to provide a vibrant downtown through Promotions, Organization, Economic Restructuring, and Design. Quality events bring thousands of locals and visitors downtown to the heart and soul of the City. Thursday evenings from May to October is the Thursday Night Market Place with its Certified Farmers' Market and live music. There is also the Wine and Chocolate Tasting held in December. The goal is to create an exciting and active downtown for people to visit and patronize the over 325 local businesses.
