Hanford Civic Auditorium

Planning a special Activity? The Hanford Civic Auditorium is a great place for your special celebration, family reunion, reception or business meeting. The west wing seats 50 and the Main Hall seats 500. Costs vary between rooms and types of functions.
401 N. Irwin Street
Consider holding your meeting, private party or small reception at the Veterans/Senior Center. The center offers a variety of room sizes from the 100 seating Veterans Hall to the 50 seated Meeting and 20 seated Living Rooms. Rates vary from room to room. Kitchen and equipment rental are extra.
Coe Park Hall

Come check out our newly renovated Coe Park Building. It is perfect for your meeting or small private party with seating up to 90.
The Longfield Center

The Longfield Center is open Monday through Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday. Saturday's from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. The Center has a gymnasium for basketball, racquetball, volleyball and a weight room. Also included is a game room for billiards, video games and ping-pong tables. The gymnasium capacity is 300 and is available for event rentals.
"The Party Zone" at the Hanford Teen Center

What kid wouldn't flip to have his or her birthday celebrated at the Teen Center? You provide the kids and cake and we'll provide the staff and games. Each child will have unlimited use of Teen Center games: hoops, basketball, pool, foosball, video games, ping-pong, big screen TV and more! The Teen Center snack back will be open upon request. Recommended for children 8 years and older. A responsible adult must accompany children under the age of 8 for all game-checkout and/or usage. Group size is limited to 20 children and 10 adults or a combination of both.
For reservations contact Recreation Supervisor Susie Chavez at 559-585-2519 at least 3 weeks prior to your date requested. Reservations will be made on a first-come first-serve basis. Payment in full is required to reserve the Party Zone. The Party Zone costs $100.00 for the two-hour minimum and $40.00 each additional hour and is available for rental on Saturdays from noon to 8:00 PM.
Ford Hill Skate Park

Ford Hill, as it is known, is open from sunrise to sunset seven days a week depending on weather conditions. In-line skaters and skateboarders are welcome to use the park. The law requires that you must wear a helmet and safety gear (knee and elbow pads.) Bikes are not allowed. All skating is done at the skater's own risk. The skate park is located on Ford Street just north of The Plunge.

Come spend your hot summer days with us at The Plunge! "Kids" of all ages can find something to keep them cool in one of our three pools. Our "Baby Pool" is only 1 foot deep and guarded by a lifeguard to ensure you and your small child have a good safe time! Our main pool consists of a shallow 3 1/2 ft. side and a deeper side that gets up to 6 1/2 ft. deep for the more advanced swimmers in the family. The slide is sure to be a hit that it is a fun and enjoyable diversion for children and adults at least 48 inches tall and able to swim. Please note that all children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. The Hanford Recreation department also offers swimming lessons as well as a mommy/daddy and me classes. Shelters at the Plunge are also available for rent.
Community Garden Plots

Would you like the experience of growing your own fruits and vegetables? The Hanford Community Garden has 30 garden plots! Plots are available at no cost and are located at the corner of South Douty Street and Second Street next to the Longfield Center. Plots must be well maintained and cared for throughout the year.
