4-YEAR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE

The City of Hanford's Environmental Oversight Committee for the G.W.F. Power Plant is providing a college scholarship of $4,000 per year, for a maximum of four years ($16,000 total) to one eligible 2010 Kings County High School Graduate. If you are a graduating senior from any high school in Kings County, Contact your High School Administration Office for eligibility details.

FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYER FUNDS AVAILABLE –LIMITED FUNDING

 ACCEPTING THE FIRST EIGHT (8) APPLICATIONS FOR DOWNPAYMENT/CLOSING COSTS ASSISTANCE (FUNDING FOR APPROXIMATELY 6, BUT TAKING 2-BACKUPS). 

TO BE ELIGIBLE, QUALIFYING BUYERS MUST BE IN ESCROW

AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION SUBMITTAL, PURCHASING A QUALIFYING HANFORD HOME (WITH ESCROWS CLOSING ON OR BEFORE APRIL 30, 2010).

  Assistance is limited to up $50,000 per household.
